To raise the standard of living of the urban poor citizens of the city by organizing savings banks and providing various trainings, free skill training, loan proposals for personal business, self-help group business and providing loans through banks, assistance to hawkers, shelter for urban homeless.

  Extensive nature of work

1. Capacity building of urban poor people, their institutions, livelihood development and urban poverty alleviation mechanisms.

2. To provide maximum livelihood opportunities to the urban poor family members.

3.Urban poor keeping in mind the needs of various sectors as per the industrial needs and requirements of the market To provide employment and self-employment opportunities to individuals by imparting skill development training.

4. Promoting small scale industries of the urban poor.

5. To provide permanent shelters with basic amenities for urban homeless people.

6. Necessary remedial measures to solve the livelihood problems of urban hawkers and uplift their status  to do
